Italy PM calls for single European representative in Russia war talks

ROME: Italian ​Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called on Thursday for ‌European ‌allies ​of ‌Ukraine ⁠to ​name a single ⁠representative in talks with ⁠Russia ‌aimed at ‌ending ​the war.

“I ‌support ‌the need to name ‌an authoritative figure … to represent ⁠Europe,” ⁠Meloni told parliament.
