Export of sport goods increases 12.99% to $319.071 mln

The export of sport goods from the country witnessed an increase of 12.99 percent during the first nine months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to the export of corresponding months of last year.
The country exported sport goods worth US$ 319.071 million during July-March (2025-26) as opposed to the export of US$ 282.396 million during July-March (2024-25), according to the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Among the sports products, the exports of footballs rose by 17.81 percent, surging from US$ 167.501 million last year to US$ 197.332 million during the current year.
The gloves export, however decreased by 6.86 percent, declining from US$ 48.152 million last year to US$ 44.848 million during the current year, the PBS data revealed.
Likewise, the exports of all other sports goods surged by 15.20 percent to US$ 76.891 million from US$ 66.743 million last year.
Meanwhile, on a year-on-year basis, the sports goods export witnessed an increase of 10.90 percent in March 2026 as opposed to the export same month last year.
The sports goods exports in March 2026 were recorded at US$ 36.381 million against exports of US$ 32.805 million in March 2025.
During the month, the export of footballs and gloves witnessed an increase of 9.36 and 14.27 percent respectively. In addition the export of all other sports products also increased by 12.87 percent.
Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, the exports of sports goods also surged by 9.42 percent during March 2026, in contrast to the exports of US$ 33.248 million in February 2026, the PBS data revealed.
