KP Governor’s adviser Sammer assumes charge

Sammer Haroon Bilour has assumed charge as adviser to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, pledging to work for public welfare, peace and prosperity in the province.
In a statement issued on Monday, Ms Bilour said she would strive to live up to the governor’s trust and play an active role in serving the people of the province.
She said the Bilour family had always made sacrifices for its land and country, adding that it was her dream to see the people of KP prosperous and thriving.
Describing public service as an honour, she said she was committed to carrying forward her family’s tradition of serving the people.
She said the establishment of peace and public prosperity were among the province’s key priorities, adding that sustainable peace was essential for development and economic progress.
Ms Bilour said the people of KP deserved peace, development and prosperity, while the protection of their lives and property remained of paramount importance.
She reaffirmed her commitment to contributing to public welfare and the development of the province.
