He said the tragedy in Starobilsk, where dozens of students lost their lives, had become a turning point in Russia’s military response. While outlining Moscow’s position on the conflict, Ambassador Khorev took special note of Pakistan’s approach. He lauded Islamabad’s role, saying that Pakistan has adopted a balanced and sensitive stance on the Russia–Ukraine issue. “Pakistan understands the sensitivity of the matter and has shown a constructive, neutral position. Russia values its relations with Pakistan and appreciates this responsible approach,” the envoy remarked.
