UHO distributed cash and sewing machines among deserving families

The Universal Humanity Organization distributed a total of Rs. 800,000 among 16 deserving individuals under the Khpal Rozgar Scheme in Union Council Mian Isa Jangah.
A special ceremony was held in this regard, where the organization’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the District Zakat Committee, Haji Malik Jahanzeb, distributed sewing machines and cash assistance of Rs. 50,000 each to deserving women.
Addressing the event, he stated that practical steps are being taken to empower economically disadvantaged segments of society so they can lead better lives. He added that the scheme would help reduce unemployment and promote small businesses.
He urged the beneficiaries to utilize the provided resources positively to improve their family livelihoods. He further stated that the scheme would be expanded to other union councils in the district to help reduce poverty.
He also mentioned that ration packages had been distributed among 170 families before Eid-ul-Fitr. Similarly, the District Zakat Committee has distributed over Rs. 20 million in dowry funds among deserving individuals.
