Punjab CM approves scholarships for students from other provinces

LAHORE
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has accorded approval to “Honhar Scholarship Scheme” for students from other provinces.
Uniform standard of qualification has been fixed for students from other provinces like Punjab.,
A special meeting was held under CM Punjab regarding higher education Thursday while important decisions were taken in the meeting.
CM Punjab has enhanced number of laptops to 110000 for students in Punjahb.
She has given formal approval to Honhar Scholarship for second, third and forth semesters.
CM Punjab has also directed to establish special help line for students in connection with Honhar Scholarship and laptop scheme.
Decision has been taken to set at least 65 percent eligibility marks.
CM Punjab said students from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Balstistan, Balochistan, KP and other provinces are our children. Every child who comes on merit should apply in good college and we will pay fee. I think like mother. We want change fate of every child.
Approval for one day VCs conference and TECH EPSO was given in the meeting.
