Police arrest suspect involved in robberies at BRT stations

Acting on special directives from senior officers, police arrested a suspect allegedly involved in robberies and thefts targeting citizens at BRT stations and local markets during a targeted operation in the Faqirabad Division.
The operation was conducted on the instructions of SP Faqirabad Division Resham Jahangir under the supervision of DSP Gulbahar Circle Ihsanullah Marwat, while SHO Gulbahar Police Station Adnan Khan led the field action along with other police personnel.
During the operation, the accused identified as Sajjad alias Chand and a resident of Imamia Colony Peshawar, was apprehended.
Police stated that the suspect was traced and arrested using modern investigative techniques. A total of Rs200,000 in stolen cash was also recovered from his possession.
