OGRA enhances prices of LNG upto 28 percent

ISLAMABAD: Government has placed another financial burden on people amid the reports that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority ( OGRA) has issued notification regarding increase in the prices of LNG upto 28 percent for the month of May. As per media reports that according to notification price of LNG has been increased by 3.51 dollars per MMBTU for Sui Southern. New price of LNG for Sui Southern has been fixed 16.04 Dollars per MMBTU. This way LNG has become costly by 3.43 dollars per MMBTU for Sui Northern system. Therefore, new price of LNG on Sui Northern system has been fixed 16.98 dollars per MMBTU. Sources said the process of determination of prices for the month of May has been delayed extraordinarily due to late decision by authority. ONLINE
