Gilani, GB Assembly speaker discuss political situation

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Imran Nadeem Shigri on Tuesday discussed the prevailing political situation in the country, regional developments, the newly elected Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, and key issues confronting the region. During a meeting, Gilani congratulated the Speaker on his election as Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly and expressed his best wishes to him and all newly elected members of the assembly. The Senate chairman said the people of Gilgit-Baltistan had reposed their trust in the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
