DPM Dar, other SCO foreign ministers call on Kyrgyz President Zhaparov

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with the foreign ministers of the SCO member states on Friday called on President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Nurgozhoevich Zhaparov at his state residence here.

Conveying the warm greetings of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the deputy prime minister thanked President Zhaparov for the gracious hospitality extended during the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held here.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscored the importance of continued collaboration among SCO Member States as Pakistan prepares to assume the SCO Chairmanship for 2026–27.

The interaction covered regional and global developments, as well as the evolving role of the SCO as an important platform for cooperation.
