DC directs vaccination of all children under five years of age

PESHAWAR: A meeting to review the performance of the fifth day of the anti-polio campaign was held in the provincial capital under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Captain (R) Sanaullah Khan here Friday. The meeting was attended by additional deputy commissioner relief Mehran Khan, administrative officers, district health officer, and officials from the health department, police, and other relevant departments. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding the progress made on the fifth day of the campaign, the performance of teams, reporting system, security arrangements, and monitoring mechanisms.
Necessary instructions were issued accordingly.
Deputy Commissioner Peshawar directed the concerned officials to ensure access to every child during the anti-polio campaign and to continue effective monitoring of the teams so that the campaign could be carried out successfully.
