CM Punjab gives approval to present Punjab budget today

LAHORE
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab has accorded approval to present Punjab budget for 2026-27 today on June 16.
Punjab budget for next financial year 2026-27 will be presented in provincial assembly on June 16.
The schedule for presenting budget was given final shape following the approval by CM Punjab.
Development of the province, public welfare and road map for new projects are likely to be included in the budget. Development program of billion of rupees of Punjab and funds of important sectors will be part of budget. Special focus is expected on education, health, infrastructure and social sector schemes. Under the directives of CM Punjab budget was made people friendly and was brought in harmony with development priorities. Punjab government will present fiscal policy, development targets and strategy of the expenses on June 16.
