CM condemns Kurram landmine incident, seeks report

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has strongly condemned a landmine incident in Kurram district in which a residential house was hit, resulting in the martyrdom of civilians, including women and children.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives, the chief minister termed the incident a “highly regrettable, condemnable and inhumane act,” stating that targeting civilians inside their homes was unacceptable under any circumstances.
He directed the relevant authorities to submit an immediate and detailed report on the incident and stressed the need for urgent measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
The chief minister said the loss of civilian lives was “extremely painful and unbearable,” adding that the provincial government stood in solidarity with the affected families in this difficult time and would provide all possible assistance.
He further instructed the authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured and to utilize all available healthcare resources without delay.
