A successful summer training camp concluded at Hayatabad Sports Complex

PESHAWAR
The summer sports training camp held at the Hayatabad Sports Complex has come to an end, with an outstanding display of talent and dedication by young athletes in various fields. The camp, which included training in karate, archery, swimming and other sports, was enthusiastically attended by both boys and girls.
The closing ceremony, a highlight of the event, was attended by notable guests including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Karate Association Senior Vice President Khalid Noor, a respected international karate player, and coach. He was accompanied by Hayatabad Sports Complex administrator Abid Afridi and other dignitaries like karate coach Jamal Afridi, Aamir Khan and archery coach Nawab Khan. A large gathering of parents and fans also attended the event, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The summer camp, an important event held every year, consists of rigorous training sessions and competitions. Participants from the Karate Academy, Archery Academy, and Swimming Academy showcased their skills and competitive spirit.
The competition in karate was tough. Abdul Rafi Khan got the first position, Waleed second and Syed Muhammad Hasim Ali Shah got the third position.
There was also a great performance in archery. Abdul Rafi Khan won the gold medal, Muhammad Affan won the silver and Tayyab won the bronze medal. In the women’s category, Ayeza Khan won gold, Lubaba won silver and Zara won bronze. In the swimming competitions, Abdul Rafi Bey won the first position, Mubasher second and Tayyab the third position. Sakina, Ansha, and Zara dominated the women’s events by winning gold, silver, and bronze medals respectively.
In his address, Khalid Noor expressed happiness over the high level of participation and training.
He praised the young karate players and stressed that their dedication and hard work will make their talents stand out at the national and international level.
Hayatabad Sports Complex Administrator Abid Afridi also addressed the event and highlighted the improvement in the facility and the better training conditions which played an important role in the development of the players. He praised the performance of the children and attributed it to the extraordinary facilities and support provided.
The event concluded with the distribution of trophies and certificates among the participants at the end of a successful and inspiring summer camp.
