IG NHMP, Sultan Ahmed Chaudhary visits central region and training college

Inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police, Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, visited the Central Region Office at Babu Sabu, Lahore, and the Motorway Police Training College, Sheikhupura.
The visit aimed to review the operational performance of the Central Region, as well as training programs and academic standards at the Training College. During the visit, Additional IG Central Region, Saad Akhtar Bharwana, briefed the Inspector General on the overall performance, administrative matters, and ongoing initiatives of the Central Region.
The visit was attended by Zonal Commander DIG Dar Ali Khattak, Commandant Training College DIG Asim Gulzar, DIG Imran Shahid, and Sector Commanders of the Motorway Police. IG Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry paid tribute at the Martyrs’ Memorial, offered Fateha, and laid a floral wreath. A Guard of Honour was also presented to him.
The Inspector General visited classrooms and training facilities at the Training College, reviewed academic and professional training standards, and issued directives for further improvement of the training system.
He also interacted with trainee officers and personnel, listened to their concerns, and emphasized the importance of modern, professional, and practical training. IG Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry visited the Driving Licensing Authority to monitor the licensing process and inspected ongoing development projects at the Training College.
The IG also chaired a meeting of all zones of the Central Region, attended by Additional IG Saad Akhtar Bharwana, DIG Dar Ali Khattak, DIG Asim Gulzar, and DIG Imran Shahid. During the meeting, Zonal Commanders presented zone-wise briefings on performance, challenges, and future plans.
