All data of polio be digitalized: PM

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has directed to digitalize all the data of polio besides conducting its strict monitoring.
The gradual decrease in polio cases took place due to hard work of management of all provinces. We are determined for complete eradication of polio, he said this while presiding over a review meeting in connection with anti polio campaign Wednesday.
We are committed to complete eradication of polio from the country. Complete eradication of polio from the country will become possible only due to the cooperation between provinces and federation.
PM was briefed about the progress so far made in anti polio campaign.
Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday, he praised the timely identification of polio cases and the negative trend in these cases, acknowledging the efforts of all provincial authorities.
The Prime Minister appreciated the cooperation of security forces during the polio campaign.
The meeting was informed that 42.5 million children were administered anti polio drops in February campaign. Three polio campaigns are part of the plan for the first six months of current year, with the first campaign having taken place in February, while the other two will be held in April and May.
Meeting was attended by state minister Dr Mukhtar Bharath, Senator Ayesha Raza Farooq and senior officers of respective institutions.
