Power supply to remain suspended in Islamabad

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has always remained committed to providing the best possible services and ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to its valued consumers. However, ongoing development projects initiated by the district administrations across the IESCO region—such as the construction of new flyovers, underpasses, new 11kV feeders, road widening projects, and other related works—require the temporary shifting of electricity poles and other power installations. For this purpose, limited-duration temporary shutdowns are occasionally required.
In this regard, on Tuesday, October 06, 2026, there will be a temporary interruption in electricity supply in Islamabad Circle: from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Service Road, Sohan, Highway, Zia Masjid, Iqbal Town, Feeders, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle: 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Kalyal, Shahpur, Adiala, Khasala, Hamyoun-I, Dk Noor, Gulshan Abad, Rose Lane, Adyala Jail, Shehgan, Defence Road, Askari-14, PGHS, Samar Zar, Feeders, Rawalpindi City Circle: 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Faizia, Feeder, Attock Circle: 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Pind Parian, Multy Garden B-17, Cabinet Division, Saray Kharbuza, Vally, Sangjani, Shah Allah Ditta, Gulshan e Sehat, Paswal, AWT-1, AWT-4, Feeders, Jhelum Circle: 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Ward No 08, Hayat Sir Road, Gujjar Khan City, Scheme-I, Matwa, Kangar, Kontorilla, Mandra, New Mandra, Hamid Jhangi, LTC, Feeders. On Wednesday, October 07, 2026, Rawalpindi City Circle: from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, AFOSH, Feeder, Attock Circle: from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Lalazar, Hussainabad, Col Sher Khan, Feeders, Chakwal Circle: from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Mureed, Al- Qaim Mills, Bhoun, Karyala, KSM Unit-3, Feeders. IESCO management apologizes to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply.
The sole purpose of these shutdowns is to facilitate the timely completion of development projects being undertaken by the district administration.
