SITE industrialists vow full support for BMG in KCCI polls

KARACHI
Industrialists of Karachi’s SITE industrial area have thrown their weight behind Businessmen Group (BMG) candidates in the upcoming Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) elections, pledging to play a full role in securing their success.
The commitment was made during an introductory ceremony organized at the SITE Association of Industry for BMG Chairman Zubair Motiwala and the group’s candidates contesting the KCCI elections.
The event was attended by SITE Association Patron Salim Parekh, President Abdul Rahman Fudda, Younus Bashir, Javed Bilwani, Tariq Yousuf, Anjum Nisar, Mohammad Idrees, Rehan Hanif, Arshad Vohra, Mian Abrar, Junaid Makda, Abdul Razzaq Agar, Shamim Firpo, Irfan Moton, SITE Association Senior Vice President Ahmed Zulfiqar Chaudhry, Vice President Mohammad Tahir Gorieja, Abdul Hadi, Ahmed Azim Alvi, Kamran Arabi, Khalid Riaz, Mohammad Riaz Dedhi, APTMA Chairman Anwar Aziz, Towels Manufacturers Association representative Aamir Lari, presidents and representatives of various trade associations, including Orangi Traders, along with a large number of SAI members, also expressed solidarity with the BMG candidates.
Addressing the gathering, BMG Chairman Zubair Motiwala appreciated the support and enthusiasm of SITE industrialists. He said the industrialists of SITE had consistently stood with the Karachi Chamber in efforts to resolve business-related problems and had contributed to strengthening the chamber as an effective voice for the business community.
Motiwala said BMG representatives who had been elected to the Karachi Chamber had served the business community without discrimination. According to him, they had raised traders’ and industrialists’ concerns before the government and made every possible effort to secure their resolution.
He said the group’s service to the business community would continue, adding that BMG candidates would use the KCCI platform to strengthen the voice of traders and industrialists and contribute to the development of business and industry and the stability of the economy.
SITE Association of Industry Patron Salim Parekh and President Abdul Rahman Fudda welcomed Motiwala and the BMG candidates contesting the KCCI elections.
They said Sept 26 would be a day of victory and celebration for BMG at the Karachi Chamber. They maintained that serving the business community remained BMG’s primary objective and pledged that the industrial community would extend its full support to the group in the elections.
The SITE industrialists also pledged to ensure 100 per cent voting from the SITE area in support of BMG candidates, they said.
