Shahryar Memon hosts high-level dinner for federal ministers, Governor Balochistan

Focal Person for overseas affairs, business and trade linkages at the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Shaheryar Memon, has organized a high-profile dinner reception in honor of federal and provincial ministers, the Governor of Balochistan, members of parliament, federal secretaries, and senior civil and military officials.
The prestigious gathering brought together distinguished political, social, business, and administrative personalities from across Pakistan in an atmosphere marked by cordiality and discussions on the country’s economic future.

The event, hosted under the patronage of Focal Person for overseas affairs, business and trade linkages at the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Shaheryar Memon, was attended by several notable figures including Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, former federal minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Member National Assembly Khurshid Ahmed Junejo, businessman and parliamentarian Dr. Ikhtiar Baig, senior politician Sardar Latif Khosa, Provincial Minister for Fisheries Balochistan, Barkat Ali Khan Rind, and Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Balochistan Muhammad Khan Lehri. Senior federal and provincial secretaries, officials, and high-ranking personalities from civil and military institutions also attended the occasion.
The ceremony was jointly presided over by Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail.
Addressing the gathering at the outset of the event, Shaheryar Memon stated that Pakistan’s economy was currently showing signs of stability and that trade and investment activities were gaining momentum across the country.
He emphasized that Pakistan has significant potential to become part of the global supply chain network, which could further strengthen the national economy and created new opportunities for industrial growth and employment.
Shaheryar further highlighted the importance of overseas Pakistanis in boosting investment and promoting economic activity, noting that expatriate communities could play a critical role in connecting Pakistan with international markets and investors.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that Pakistan remained an attractive destination for foreign investment and assured that the government would provide every possible facilitation to international investors.
He noted that Special Economic Zones (SEZs) were becoming increasingly important for transfer of industrial and investment relocation, adding that China and other foreign investors were now focusing more seriously on Pakistan as a strategic investment hub.

Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, while addressing the audience, said that Pakistan’s economy was steadily progressing and the country’s relations with the international community are strengthening.
He remarked that Gwadar Port has emerged as a center of global attention due to its strategic importance and its role in linking Central Asia with the Middle East through regional connectivity and trade corridors.
Parliamentarians and other speakers at the event expressed confidence in Pakistan’s economic future, describing the country as an emerging economy poised to play a significant role in the global economic landscape in the near future.
