Safe City official briefs control room staff

ISLAMABAD
Assistant Director Safe City Abbas Mehdi briefed officers of the Mohafiz Muharram Control Room and issued directions aimed at strengthening surveillance, monitoring and response mechanisms during Muharram-ul-Haram.
An official told media on Sunday that the briefing focused on ensuring effective monitoring of Imambargahs and procession routes through the Safe City surveillance system.
Abbas Mehdi directed control room officers to maintain constant vigilance and ensure comprehensive coverage of religious gatherings and processions across the federal capital.
According to the official, special instructions were issued to prioritize and promptly address calls received through the Mohafiz Muharram App to facilitate timely response and public assistance. The briefing also emphasized effective coordination between the control room and field formations to ensure swift communication and response to any emerging situation.
Officers were directed to make optimum use of available technological resources and maintain round-the-clock monitoring throughout Muharram-ul-Haram.
