PTI Founder Undergoes Detailed Medical Examination at Adiala Jail

A team of specialist doctors and paramedical staff from PIMS Hospital and Shifa Trust conducted a detailed medical examination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.
According to jail sources, a specialized team headed by Dr Arif Khan, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at PIMS, reached Adiala Jail along with necessary medical equipment.
The team included ophthalmology specialists from PIMS and Shifa Eye Hospital, as well as specialists from other medical fields.
Sources said Imran Khan’s blood pressure, cholesterol and eyes were examined during the medical checkup. The team brought the required equipment and machines to the jail for the examination.
After completing the medical examination, the doctors and paramedical staff left the jail. No official details regarding the medical examination have so far been released.
