PM stresses building disaster-resilient communities

ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has renewed commitment to building safer and more resilient communities across Pakistan.
In a post on X handle on the occasion of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, he emphasized that prevention today is a must for protection tomorrow.
The Prime Minister said disasters can undo years of progress in a single day.
He said, as climate-related risks grow, we are working to embed risk reduction in our climate and development plans and strengthen partnerships to protect those most at risk.
