
Rahim Yar Khan
The Sheikh Khalifa IT & AI Centre at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, has been officially inaugurated.
The inauguration ceremony of this modern centre, located in the heart of Rahim Yar Khan city, was performed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Engr. Dr. Amir Azam Khan, along with Major (R) Irfan Mustafa Manager (All Regions) PDP H.H. Head Office Rahim Yar Khan and other distinguished officials.
The centre is offering a wide range of industry-relevant courses, including Digital Marketing & SEO, Data Analysis using Python, Applied GIS, YouTube Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Office Management, Web Development, English Language, E-Commerce, and Advanced Python Programming, among others.
These courses are being offered either free of cost or at a highly affordable fee. After the inauguration, the Director of the centre, Dr. Muhammad Sagir conducted a tour of the facility for the Vice Chancellor and other guests and briefed them about the available facilities and ongoing classes.
The Vice Chancellor interacted with students and faculty members, appreciated the arrangements, and highlighted the importance of IT in the modern era. He emphasized that acquiring practical skills is essential for national development and progress.
The chief guest remarked that such modern IT centres play a vital role in empowering youth and equipping them with globally competitive skills. He further stated that this initiative by KFUEIT will not only be highly commendable but will also open new avenues for educational and technological advancement in the region.
The event was attended by Registrar KFUEIT Prof. Engr. Dr. Javaid Iqbal, Dr. Naveed Ahmad, Dr. Muhammad Saif, Dr. Aslam Khan, Dr. Muhammad Bilal Tahir, Dr. Adnan Khaliq, and Dr. Muhammad Anwar Farooq, Dr, Majid Rashid, Coordinator Muhammad Amjad, Muhammad Waseem Sardar Amin Administration Officer Shahbaz Asghar Technical Advisor along with other senior officials.
