IESCO notifies temporary power shutdown schedule on limited feeders

Islamabad: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has always remained committed to providing the best possible services and ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to its valued consumers. However, ongoing development projects initiated by the district administrations across the IESCO region—such as the construction of new flyovers, underpasses, new 11kV feeders, road widening projects, and other related works—require the temporary shifting of electricity poles and other power installations. For this purpose, limited-duration temporary shutdowns are occasionally required. In this regard, on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, there will be a temporary interruption in electricity supply in Punjab House, Bari Imam, Pir Sohawa, Saidpur, Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mahfooz Shaheed / Shehzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme, CDA Pump, feeders and adjoining areas in Islamabad Circle. IESCO management apologizes to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply. The sole purpose of these shutdowns is to facilitate the timely completion of development projects being undertaken by the district administration. Staff Reporter
