Former CM Gandapur emphasis supremacy of rule of law, justice

PESHAWAR
Former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur here Sunday emphasized justice, rule of law, and resolution of public issues during the budget debate in the provincial assembly.
Speaking in the assembly session, Ali Amin Gandapur said that a society without justice cannot progress. He stated that every prisoner has fundamental and legal rights, and their provision should be ensured.
Commenting on the budget, he said that the public elected their representatives through votes, and it is those representatives who bear the responsibility for resolving the people’s problems.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that governments come and go, but the process of public service should continue. He stressed that criticism alone will not solve problems and that practical measures are necessary.
He further said that in a democracy, the vote is the power of the people, and the welfare and well-being of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be the top priority of every government.
He added that prisoners should be provided with medical care and other basic amenities.
Ali Gandapur also demanded better medical facilities to PTI founder.
The former chief minister said that the circumstances affecting one person today could affect someone else tomorrow; therefore, it is essential to uphold the requirements of law and justice.
