COAS Asim Munir Celebrates Eid with frontline Troops in Zhob

RAWALPINDI
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Zhob district in Balochistan and celebrated Eid-ul-Azha with frontline troops deployed along Pakistan’s western borders, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visit began with Eid prayers and special supplications for Pakistan’s peace, stability and prosperity, as well as tributes to martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defence of the country.
The army chief praised officers and soldiers for their courage, operational readiness and vigilance amid foreign-sponsored terrorism, commending their sacrifices in safeguarding national security.
Referring to the recent terrorist incident in Quetta, attributed to Indian-sponsored militants and proxies, the field marshal said such acts could not weaken the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces or the nation, reaffirming continued action against facilitators and perpetrators of terrorism in coordination with law enforcement agencies and the people of Balochistan.
During the visit, he also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada (Martyrs’ Monument), and prayed for the country’s peace and stability.
