Gold prices decline by Rs 2,900 per tola

The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 2,900 to settle at Rs 490,862 compared to Rs 493,762 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 2,486 to Rs 420,835 from Rs 423,321, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 2,279 to Rs 385,779 against Rs 388,058. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $29 to $4,685 per ounce from $4,714.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 142 to Rs 7,957 from Rs 8,099, while the price of 10 grams of silver also declined by Rs 122 to Rs 6,821 from Rs 6,943. The price of silver in the international market decreased by $1.42 to $74.73 per ounce from $76.15.
