Retired officers of Mardan Central Jail honoured

Mardan: A solemn ceremony was held in Mardan Central Jail in honor of the retired officers of the Jails Department, which was hosted by the Superintendent of Mardan Central Jail Muhammad Riaz Mohmand. All the retired officers of the Jail Department from across the province, former Inspector Generals (IGs), Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs), Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents participated in the ceremony.
It was to pay tribute to the services of the retired officers who dedicated their precious years of life for the betterment, discipline and institutional stability of the department. These officers were declared as valuable assets of the department who performed their duties well in spite of various periods and challenges.
The retired officers were presented with a guard of honor on arrival which reminded them of the golden days of their service. The honor was highly regarded by the retired officers as recognition and honor for their services. Later, a sumptuous lunch was given in honor of the retired officers at the rest house, along with cultural music.
Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent Mardan Central Jail Mohammad Riaz Mohmand paid tribute to the retired officers for their selfless services, professional integrity and lifelong sacrifices for the department.
He said that the experience and services of the retired officers are a beacon for the department.
At the end of the function, the host Superintendent Jail distributed certificates of appreciation to all the retired officers from the Prisons Department, in recognition of their outstanding and exemplary services. Finally, the distinguished guests were given a warm farewell.
