CM-KP condemns IED blast in Tank

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has strongly condemned the IED blast targeting a police vehicle in Tank district, calling the incident “extremely tragic, cowardly, and utterly condemnable.” A Statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office stated that Sohail Afridi has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of five police personnel, including the Station House Officer (SHO), the Chief Minister emphasized that the sacrifices made by the martyred officers would never be in vain. “The elements behind such attacks, which are designed to disrupt peace and stability, will never succeed in their malicious objectives,” he stated. The Chief Minister has affirmed that the police force remains at the forefront of the battle against terrorism and that the entire nation stands united in pride over the sacrifices made by these brave individuals. “The forces of terror will be brought to justice and punished accordingly,” he assured. Sohail Afridi reiterated that the provincial government is committed to deploying all available resources to ensure peace, law and order, and the complete eradication of terrorism from the region. The Chief Minister prayed for the elevation of their ranks in the hereafter. “The provincial government shares in the grief of the martyrs’ families and is committed to providing them with all necessary support during this difficult time,” he concluded.
