Govt stands with minorities for protection of their rights: PM
No injustice will be allowed to be perpetrated against minorities: PM

ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said services of Christian Officers and Jawans in armed forces for the nation are unforgettable and no injustice will be allowed to be perpetrated against minorities.
He said this while speaking at a ceremony held in Islamabad to mark Christmas celebrations.
The Prime Minister expressed the resolve to stand firm with the minorities for the protection of their rights and said that this country belong to all of us and we all have equal rights in it.
My Quaid Nawaz Sharif always upheld rights of minorities and he as PM attended Diwali and Christmas ceremony , PM added.
Shehbaz Sharif said Islam imparts the teachings of love, peace, equality, justice and brotherhood and similarly, the essence of the teachings of Holy Prophet (SAWW) is to deal others with love and affection and not to hurt others.
The premier expressed solidarity with minorities, stressing that Pakistan belongs to all citizens, and everyone has equal rights to live with dignity and respect.
He highlighted the core values of Islam, which promote love, peace, justice, equality, and brotherhood, and reiterated that these principles reflect the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which advocate kindness and respect towards others.
He emphasized that the Constitution of Pakistan greatly stressed for the protection of rights of minorities including Christians, Sikhs, Hindus and Parsis.
Alluding to the speech of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding the religious freedom, Shehbaz Sharif said that the Father of Nation clearly stated that you are free to go to mosques, temples, Churches and Gurdwaras. He said that these sayings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah are an essential feature of the Constitution of Pakistan.

He said sepoy Haroon William rendered sacrifice of his life while fighting against enemy. I along with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended his funeral.
