Pakistan rejects Israeli PM plan for greater Israel: FO

Foreign Office (FO) while rejecting Israeli Prime Minister plan for greater Israel has said Israeli aggression in Palestine should be condemned at international level.
“Pakistan is supportive of an independent state of Palestine with Al-Quds its capital, this was said by FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali during his weekly press briefing in FO Friday.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif while thanking China for extending cooperation at every level to Pakistan has said Sino-Pak friendship has remained robust in every trying time.
He held the decision of international court on Indus Basin Treaty good omen.
He went on to say Chinese Foreign Minister (FM) has come to Pakistan in connection with sixth strategic dialogue on the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
Both the sides talked on CPEC-2 and other bilateral matters. Chinese Foreign Minister met with President, Prime Minister (PM) and Army Chief.
PM expressed desire to extend cooperation in different areas including CPEC-2.
Anti terrorism related matters came under discussion during meeting with army chief.
He stated trilateral talks were held between China, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Agreement was reached on anti terrorism, CPEC and bolstering economic cooperation.
The spokesperson made it clear Pakistan has always been talking of safe havens of terrorists in Afghanistan. This point was raised in trilateral forum.
The spokesperson while appreciating decision of International Arbitration Court on Indus Basin Treaty said decision in favor of Pakistan on Indus Basin Treaty is good omen. It has been made clear in the decision India cannot stop Pakistan water.
Rejecting Indian foreign ministry allegation, the spokesperson said India distorts the facts as per its habit.
He underlined there is no schedule of any meeting with Indian PM. The media reports in this regard are baseless.
Growing purchase of arms by India is alarming particularly in perspective of declared policy of India about Pakistan and Islamophobia. Pakistan is all set to face every situation. Pakistan is ready to hold comprehensive talks with India. Pakistan will welcome any serious effort in this regard. Condemning the act of harassing Pakistani diplomats in New Delhi, he said giving respect to diplomats is must as per international laws.

The spokesperson also made it clear that holding meeting of exiled government leadership of Afghanistan by a private think tank is not Pakistan state policy.
Ishaq Dar inaugurated Punjab Land Record System Office and one window passport system office in London.
Welcoming the US decision for including Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in the list of international terrorist organizations he said BLA has remained involved in several terrorist activities including Jaffar Express.
