A high-level delegation of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), led by Kazim Khan, met with the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) to commend the Pakistan Armed Forces for their outstanding performance during the War of Truth.
Members of the delegation praised the military’s coordinated strategy alongside the Government of Pakistan and the people of the country, calling the achievement an “unprecedented victory” in the face of regional challenges.
The DG ISPR highlighted the ISPR’s crucial role in providing timely and reliable information to counter sensational propaganda from Indian media throughout the conflict.
“The youth are the capital of this country, and their positive thinking is proof of Pakistan’s bright future,” said the DG ISPR, emphasizing the importance of the younger generation in shaping a prosperous Pakistan.
The DG ISPR reaffirmed that the Pakistani armed forces, with public support, are fully capable of defeating proxy wars and terrorism fueled by India’s negative influence and resources.
He further stated that efforts to spread despair in Balochistan through negative propaganda would fail, as the patriotic people of the province are aware of the tactics used by anti-national elements and their foreign sponsors.
The DG ISPR praised the Pakistani media for its responsible reporting and effective response to Indian propaganda during challenging times.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation presented a commemorative shield to the DG ISPR in recognition of his leadership.
