Misrepresentation of KP CM’s remarks part of Indian misinformation campaign: Barrister Saif

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Friday strongly condemned what he termed as India’s malicious attempts to distort the statement of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in a bid to push Pakistan back onto the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list.
In a statement, Dr. Saif said that India’s longstanding involvement in terrorism within Pakistan, particularly in KP, was well-documented. “Kulbhushan is undeniable evidence of Indian crimes on Pakistani soil, and his activities alone justify India’s inclusion in the FATF grey list,” he stated.
He further added that India’s defeat on the battlefield has led it to adopt underhanded tactics. “After suffering a military defeat, India has turned to terrorism and disinformation. The recent rise in terrorist incidents in Pakistan, especially in KP, was directly linked to Indian support for militant groups,” Saif claimed.
He accused India of targeting innocent civilians and fueling instability through covert means. “India lacks the courage to confront Pakistan directly and is instead resorting to cowardly attacks from the shadows,” he said.
Responding to the controversy surrounding the Chief Minister’s statement, Mr Saif clarified that any misrepresentation of Ali Amin Gandapur’s remarks was part of India’s campaign of misinformation.
He asserted that the Chief Minister himself will approach the FATF to present concrete evidence of India’s involvement in acts of terrorism in the province.
KP government spokesperson Barrister Saif maintained that Pakistan will not allow India’s narrative to succeed on international forums and vowed to expose Indian-sponsored terrorism with facts and evidence.
