Punjab CM’s anti-PTI statements harm national unity: Barrister Saif

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has strongly criticized Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her recent remarks, in which she reportedly termed PTI as more harmful than India.
In a statement issued here, Barrister Saif said that such statements were a reflection of “Modi-ism” and an attempt to undermine national unity.
“Maryam Nawaz’s comments are not merely an attack on PTI, they serve as implicit support for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent Kashmiris,” said Saif.
“In trying to deflect attention from Modi’s atrocities, she is instead targeting her political opponents at home, “ he added.
He further alleged that Maryam Nawaz’s stance was consistent with a broader pattern of silence from the Sharif family regarding India’s aggression and the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India.
Mr Saif criticized the Sharif family for prioritizing personal and political interests over national security. He urged Maryam Nawaz to answer the people of Pakistan for what he termed the Sharif family’s “criminal silence” during moments of heightened Indo-Pak tension.
“This silence is a clear indication that personal ties are being placed above the interests of the country,” he added.
