PHC grants interim bail for one month to Omar Ayub

PPP, PM on one page on canals matter: Omar Ayub

Peshawar High Court (PHC) has granted protective bail to opposition leader in National Assembly ( NA) and PTI leader Omar Ayub for one month.
Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Salah ud Din of PHC took up for hearing the petition seeking details of cases registered against Omar Ayub Tuesday.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) said during the hearing of the case that 21 cases are registered against Omar Ayub in Islamabad.
Omar Ayub said details of the cases against him were earlier filed and despite it more cases surfaced up. IG Islamabad deceived the court and concealed the cases.
PHC ordered that the details of how many cases are registered against Omar Ayub be filed.
Later talking to the media men after hearing of the case Omar Ayub said Prime Minister (PM) and PPP are one page on the matter of canals. PPP is shedding crocodile tears on seeing people pressure.
The approval for change in flow of water was also given. This is tantamount to stabbing people of Sindh in their back.
He held mines and mineral bills will be scrutinized. PTI founder will be briefed over it. The orders of PTI founder will be complied with.
He said when we raise voice for our right then FIRs are registered against us. Federal government filed report of cases against him and IG Islamabad concealed 2 FIRs therein.
He said our associates were lifted from parliament. Speaker constituted committee. Nothing was done over it.
We submitted resolution on canal issue which also disappeared.
He said there is meeting of counsels penal of Imran Khan with him today.,. I have not met PTI founder. The court’s orders are being defied.
What is happening in Palestine is not acceptable, he held. We condemn Israeli aggression.
He underlined people of different school of thoughts are sitting in the party. We talk to each other. There is no monarchy in our party like PPP and PML-N. There is no difference in the party.
