Saif slams Lahore Green Lane Project, call it failure

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has strongly criticized the Green Lane project in Lahore, calling it a reflection of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s ‘incompetence’.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Mr Saif stated that the first rainfall in Lahore had exposed the poor quality of the multi-million-rupee project meant for bikers.
He went on to suggest that Maryam Nawaz should take lessons from KP’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, on how to execute quality development projects.
Accusing the Sharif family of prioritizing commissions over actual development, Saif claimed that this approach has been a long-standing tradition of their governance.
He further alleged that Maryam Nawaz was wasting taxpayers’ money due to her incompetence, urging her to focus on real development rather than misusing public funds.
The Lahore Green Lane project, according to Saif, was clear evidence that the Punjab government was more interested in financial gains than in delivering sustainable infrastructure.
He called on the administration to stop investing in substandard projects that drain national resources and fail to benefit the public.
