PTI backs legal fraternity against judges’ transfer decision: Saif

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has strongly condemned the recent transfers in the Islamabad High Court, stating that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stands with the legal fraternity against this decision.
In a press statement here on Tuesday, Barrister Saif said that the transfer of judges disrupts the justice system and alleged that appointing junior judges while bypassing senior ones was an attempt to manipulate “judicial independence” in the country.
Barrister Saif criticized the country’s political elite, accusing them of undermining the judiciary’s autonomy and turning courts into political battlegrounds.
He claimed that lawyers, journalists, and politicians have taken to the streets in protest against what he termed as the “illegal decisions” of the current government.
The KP government spokesperson also blamed the federal government for pushing the country toward the crisis, claiming that every sector has suffered under its rule, with even the judiciary falling victim to political interference.
