Maulana Zahoor Ahmad shot dead in Badaber

PESHAWAR
In a targeted attack during night hours, renowned religious scholar Maulana Qazi Zahoor Ahmad was assassinated by unidentified individuals in the suburb area Badaber here, police informed on Monday.,
Police said, the incident took place in Badaber area of Peshawar where Maulana Qazi Zahoor Ahmad was returning home after leading Isha prayer and delivering a sermon when he was targeted. The police report indicates that two bullet casings were recovered from the crime scene. A case has been registered based on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Ataullah, and investigations are underway.
Probe have started investigation into the incident.
