PCB HEC Intervarsity Cricket Tournament Zone-M title

The PCB HEC Intervarsity Cricket Tournament Zone-M Karachi came to a thrilling conclusion today at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi. In a highly anticipated final, Indus University Karachi emerged victorious against DHA Suffa University, winning by a huge margin of 191 runs.
Batting first, Indus University set a target of 265 runs in their allotted 45 overs. The standout performer for Indus was their captain, who played a remarkable unbeaten innings of 109 runs, showcasing exceptional skill and determination.
In response, DHA Suffa University struggled to chase down the target and was bowled out for just 74 runs. Muhammad Wazir and Ali Abrar, of Indus University took three wickets each, dismantling the opposition’s batting lineup.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Syed Rahat Ali Shah, the coordinator of the PCB, who served as the chief guest.
He was accompanied by Jamshed Essa, the Manager of Sports at IBA. During the ceremony, Ahzan Yousaf of Indus University was honoured as both the Player of the Match and the Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performances throughout the event.
The tournament saw participation from 12 universities and was organized by IBA Karachi in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
This event not only highlighted the competitive spirit among universities but also promoted cricket at the grassroots level, fostering talent and sportsmanship among the youth.
