CM wants active role of public services commission, KPIC

PESHAWAR
Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has directed authorities concerned to propose amendments in the relevant laws to make the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Public Services Commission and KP Right to Information Commission active and more efficient.
A statement issued here CM Gandapur emphasized the need to improve the provision of services in these commissions to meet public expectations.
The Chief Minister issued this directive while presiding over separate meetings of the two commissions.
Besides Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Amjad Ali Khan, Chief Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Information Commission Farah Hamid Khan, Right to Public Services Commission Commissioners Zakir Hussain, Muhammad Asim Imam and others attended the meeting. On this occasion, a detailed briefing was given by the relevant authorities about the background, mandate, legal framework, working and other issues of Right to Public Services Commission and Right to Information Commission
The Chief Minister also directed the representatives of the Right to Public Services Commission to participate in the open court organized by the Deputy Commissioners and provide information to the people about their organization.
The people trust in institutions depends on the timely resolution of complaints, people only bring complaints when they have confidence that there are institutions that will resolve them, he added and said that timely resolution of complaints is crucial for building trust in institutions
CM –KP said that the culture of asking for information to be changed to the culture of providing information.
Gandapur also directed to take steps for the immediate appointment of Chief Commissioner in the Right to Public Services Commission and two commissioners in KPRIC.
