QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday pledged that welfare of the martyrs’ families is a top priority of the government and ensured full support to the families of the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
On Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police, the Chief Minister (CM) expressed complete solidarity with the families of the martyrs, laid a floral wreath at Martyrs Monument and offered Fatiha for the fallen national heroes. Bugti paid homage to all those martyrs who embraced Shahadat to ensure the safety and security of our nation.
He ordered that such a tradition should be set up that the special guests of this event would be the families of the martyrs.
“The police martyrs are the pride of the nation and we salute to the martyrs who made eternal sacrifices to maintain peace in the province and make the public safe”, he maintained.
Sarfraz Bugti said that martyrdom is a great rank and the families of the martyrs are close to our hearts as living nations never forget their martyrs and heroes. “The fault lines of terrorism will be fully defended and we can avenge the holy blood of our martyrs”, he added.
He said that the one whose thinking is to weaken Balochistan cannot be left free and he would never be able to achieve their nefarious designs. “The parliament is the guarantor of the rights of the province and it is the genesis whatever rights we got”, he said.
