Funeral prayer for martyred customs officials offered in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The funeral prayer for two martyred Customs Intelligence officers was offered at the Customs House Peshawar.
Five Customs Intelligence officers embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack which took place in Darabandh Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali, Inspector General of FC Noor Wali, IGP Police Akhtar Hayat Gandapur, Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, Chief Collector participated in the funeral prayer.
Director General Customs Intelligence Faiz Ahmed and collectors participated in a large number of relatives and friends of the martyred officials.
This incident took place on Thursday in Darabandh Tehsil of DI Khan.
Those who lost their lives including Inspector Mohammad Aslam Marwat, Havaldar Inayatullah, Akbar Zaman and Sepoys Iftikhar Alam and Shahab Ali.
Speaking to the media, Governor Haji Ghulam Ali strongly condemned the incident and said that the customs authorities have nothing to do with terrorism and all law enforcement agencies must adopt better strategies to prevent such incidents.
Chief Collector Customs Saeed Akram said that according to the martyer package, the heirs of the martyred official will be awarded a job and a huge amount of money.
