NAB gives clean chit to Nawaz Sharif

The car in question was not a part of the Toshakhana at the time of purchase by the PML-N supremo, NAB tells court

NAB has given clean chit to PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif in its investigation into Tosha khana reference.
In its report filed in the court, NAB has said Nawaz Sharif be acquitted from the case.
It has been further said in the report Nawaz Sharif did not make payment in respect of vehicle from fake bank account.
The NAB report said vehicle was surrendered to Toshakhana in 1997. When Nawaz Sharif purchased vehicle in 2008 , it was not in the ownership of Toshakhana.
The Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad adjourned till May 7 hearing of in Toshakhana vehicles reference against Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Nawaz Sharif , Yousuf Raza Gillani and others.
Toshakhan reference against Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gillani and others came up for hearing before AC Islamabad Wednesday.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana of AC Islamabad heard the case.
The NAB filed report in the court about joining the investigation by Mian Nawaz Sharif.
During previous hearing NAB had sought time for filing investigation report.
Rana Muhammad Irfan appeared as pleader of Nawaz Sharif in the court.
Arshid Tabrez advocate appeared in the court on behalf of president Asif Ali Zardari and Anwar Majeed.
During the hearing of the case Arshid Tabrez advocate told the court Asif Ali Zardari enjoys presidential immunity for five years.
The co-accused are charged with sending amount out of sugar mills account. The case cannot be run against the co-accused Abdul Ghani Majeed and Anwar Majeed.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana remarked we will see it on next hearing.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till May 7.
