UN Chief condemns terrorist attack on peacekeeping force in Abyei

Washington: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the deadly violence in the disputed Abyei Administrative Area, in which two UN peacekeepers were killed. Spokesman of the UN Chief Stephane Dujarric reminded all parties that attacks on UN peacekeepers may constitute war crimes. He said Guterres has conveyed deepest condolences to the families of the deceased peacekeepers from Ghana and Pakistan, civilians in the Abyei and to the governments and people of Ghana and Pakistan.
One hundred and fourteen Palestinians were martyred and two hundred and forty-nine injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza during last twenty four hours.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry, the martyrdom toll of Palestinians in Gaza in Israeli aggression has risen to over twenty six thousand and seven hundred, in addition to over sixty-five thousand and six hundred injured since October 7 last year.
