Four terrorists killed in Karak during IBO

PESHAWAR: 4 terrorists have been killed in joint Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) by Karak and Kohat police in district Karak , KP. According to Central Police Office (CPO) Karak and Kohat police conducted joint intelligence based operation in the area of Khattak Dam on a tip off. The terrorists opened fire on police party during the operation. According to CPO 4 terrorists were killed in retaliatory firing by police. As per media report, the terrorists killed in Khattak dam operation belonged to commander Zahid group. CPO has said the terrorists who were killed belonged to commander Zahid group who was wanted in the cases related to martyrdom of several police officers and police men. Identification of the killed terrorists and scrutiny of their criminal record is underway. CPO has made it clear the area has been besieged and search operation has been started. Police operation will continue uninterrupted till the elimination of terrorism from the province. ONLINE
