Zeeshan Rafique reviews Suthra Punjab Program in Daska

A key meeting regarding the ‘Suthra Punjab’ program and ongoing development projects was held in Daska, presided over by Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Local Government, Zeeshan Rafique.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Awais Mushtaq, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) Mian Sarmad Hussain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Social Services) Asif Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Daska Sadia Jaffar, and other relevant officials briefed the Provincial Minister in detail on sanitation arrangements, current initiatives, and the progress of various development projects.
Provincial Minister Zeeshan Rafique issued directives to enhance the effectiveness of the sanitation system under the ‘Suthra Punjab’ program, ensure consistent cleanliness in both urban and rural areas, and effectively monitor sanitation operations. He said that providing a clean environment to citizens is among the government’s top priorities and that no negligence regarding the sanitation system would be tolerated.
The Provincial Minister reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects and directed officials from the relevant departments to further accelerate the pace of work, ensure quality, and complete the projects on time in accordance with set targets.
He said that the benefits of development projects must reach the general public directly and emphasized the need for special attention to project monitoring, quality, and speed. The Provincial Minister also instructed officials to remain in the field and maintain effective oversight of the projects and sanitation arrangements.
