Youth valuable asset, symbol of hope: Mayor Peshawar
Youth should move forward and lead the country: Zubair

PESHAWAR
Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali on Monday emphasized the vital role of youth in shaping the future of Pakistan, calling them the country’s most valuable asset and a symbol of hope.
He expressed these views during a meeting with members of the Young Leaders Parliament. Addressing the young participants, Mayor Zubair Ali urged them to take charge of the nation’s future with dedication, integrity, and unity.
“Youth should move forward and lead the country. Your dreams, your hard work, and your commitment can shape the Pakistan of tomorrow,” he said. He encouraged them to make education their weapon, morality their ornament, hard work their strength, and unity their motto, aiming to build the Pakistan envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He further advised the young leaders to devote their efforts to the betterment of the homeland, adding, “Every success should be dedicated to Pakistan. If you are a member of the Young Parliament today, you can become part of the local government, provincial assemblies, or even the national parliament tomorrow—but only through relentless effort.”
The mayor stressed the importance of living within the bounds of morality, tradition, honor, and respect. “If you remain within these values, success will surely follow,” he noted.
He concluded by expressing hope that the youth would actively participate in addressing public issues and contribute meaningfully to the development of the city and the country.
Members of the Young Leaders Parliament thanked Mayor Zubair Ali for his encouraging words and support.
