Yahya Asad wins National Junior Squash Championship

In u-13 Muhammad Fawad Khan secures second position

Pakistan Air Force’s Yahya Asad won the National Junior Squash Championship, defeating PAF’s Mustafa 3-0 in the final. In the Under-13 category, Peshawar’s Muhammad Fawad Khan secured second position.
The Shell Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship held in Islamabad under the auspices of the Pakistan Squash Federation has concluded, in which Pakistan Air Force’s Yahya Asad defeated Mustafa (PAF) 3-0 in a thrilling match of the Under-17 final to win the title. Yahya Asad has previously won several national and international tournaments in Pakistan. He won a bronze medal in Qatar last year.
In the National Junior Squash Championship, Muhammad Fawad Khan of Bank of Khyber from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa performed brilliantly and secured second position in the Under-13 category. Fawad Khan defeated Ashraf, Mustafa of Punjab and Danish Sikandar of Peshawar in the round matches.
National ranking number 3 Fawad Khan has so far achieved success in many events under the supervision of coaches Munawar Zaman, Sohail Raja and Tahir Iqbal. Among them, the National Championship and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Championship in 2022 are prominent. This year, he has won a bronze medal in the Australian Junior Squash Championship, while he has won gold and silver in national competitions.
