Sheikh Aftab presides District Coordination Committee meeting

Pakistan Muslim League (N) Member National Assembly and Convener of the District Coordination Committee Sheikh Aftab Ahmed has said that Punjab Government taking steps for people’s welfare.
These views were expressed while presiding over the meeting of District Coordination Committee in DC Office Attock. Which was attended by officers of all the departments of the district. MNA Malik Sohail Khan, MPA Malik Athbar Khan, MPA Ch.Sher Ali Khan, Deputy Commissioner Atif Raza, District President (PMLN) Saleem Shehzad, CEO Education Sajda Mukhtar, CEO Health Dr. Asad Ismail and other concerned officers were also present on this occasion.
As per reported by our district representative faisal munir that During the meeting, a detailed review of the ongoing development schemes across the district and other public affairs.
While briefing the meeting, it was informed that the development works for public welfare are going on in full force throughout the district and these works will be completed within the stipulated period.
The Deputy Director Planning was briefed about 44 development schemes are ongoing under Provincial Buildings, which will cost 1282.798 million rupees. 47 schemes for construction of new roads, maintenance and repair of old roads are in progress at a cost of Rs.106,824.345 million. 06 public health schemes are in progress which will cost 1393.075 million rupees. 11 schemes of local government will cost 562.792 million rupees and 1300 million rupees will be spent on 467 schemes under the Prime Minister’s Development Program.
Member National Assembly Sheikh Aftab said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken unprecedented steps for the development of the entire province and special funds allocated to At­tock district for provide maximum facilities to the people. He said that the government’s focus on education, Health, and agricultural develop­ment, announcing the establish­ment of an agricultural university campus in Attock. The supply of gas to almost all the villages of Attock district, which is benefiting the residents, he added.
Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said that these public welfare projects will continue in the future and the Pakistan Muslim League (N) government will always work for public welfare. He directed all the concerned officers on this occasion to ensure timely and quality completion of development works besides visiting the development schemes on daily basis.
