Serena Masters Tennis Cup Competitions Began at Peshawar. On first day, The men’s singles competitions of Serena Masters Tennis Cup under the auspices of the Pakistan Tennis Federation eight matches were played. On this occasion, Pakistan Tennis Federation President and International Player Aisam-ul-Haq, KP Tennis Association Chairman Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir, Tennis Secretary Umar Ayaz Khalil, Tennis Association officials, members and coaches were present.
In the matches held yesterday, KP’s Shoaib Khan won against Abdullah Adnan by 6-1 and 6-1. In the second match, Muhammad Muzammil defeated Shehzad Khan by 7-5 and 7-5.
While in the third match, national champion Aqeel Khan defeated Yousuf Khalil by 4-6, 6-4 and 6-2 after a tough competition.
According to the schedule, six matches will be held today, while the final and closing ceremony will be held tomorrow, December 28. These competitions include men’s singles, men’s doubles and Pakistan’s top eight players are showcasing their talents in every category in the women’s singles competition.
